A bespoke model that acknowledges the individual needs of artist-entreprenuers.

We are committed to building customized onramps to funding, strategic support, and pathways to fandom and early adopters. Our unique approach will meet artists and entrepreneurs wherever they are in their journey, allowing them to lead while we provide tailored mentorship and resources to support them on their way to success.

Starfish will provide grants and investments to underrepresented artists building creative IP franchises - big ideas with the potential to reach mass audiences across myriad platforms and strategies. We also make angel-level investments in overlooked and undervalued entrepreneurs developing technology for the creative industry or designed to unlock underserved markets.

Funding

Myriad funding options, from philanthropic subsidies to zero and low-cost loans to market-rate follow-on investments set to key performance indicators that lead to sequential releases in the same media or another. Most grants we make average in the $25k range.

Workshops

Workshops on key topics like entrepreneurship, fandom, legal strategy and right management.
After successfully completing our accelerator pilot, we've spent some time examining the field, adapting to the turbulent times, and refining our approach based on critical learnings. Now, we're inviting you, a select few artists and entrepreneurs, to apply early through our friends and family preview. All we ask is a commitment to provide us with valuable feedback so that we can work out the kinks and improve the process before our public launch.
